Reinforcing mesh made of plastic. 50 m² per roll, dimensions 1×50 m, with 13 x 13 mm grid, 130g/m² basis weight.
A classic exterior plaster fabric, naturally alkali-resistant!
This extra coarse reinforcing mesh has particularly good adhesion properties with clay plaster. The large holes allow the clay basecoat plaster to bond perfectly with the clay topcoat plaster. With clay plaster, small-mesh synthetic meshes quickly form a separating layer between the plaster layers.
This mesh is used in clay plaster to bridge cracks, joints or material changes in the substrate. It prevents cracks in the finishing render caused by non-homogeneous substrates.
The fabric is also used outdoors as a stable ETICS fabric.
Glass fiber mesh is usually embedded vertically in the fresh clay plaster using trowels. Reinforcing mesh should always be applied with an overlap of approx. 10 cm at the joints. Plastic mesh is very easy to work with. The clay plaster encloses the plaster mesh quickly and smoothly.
Plastering ceilings, pitched roofs or curves with clay is also an easy task thanks to this plastic mesh. This glass fabric works on all substrates, including wall heating systems.
