Skimming is almost always needed
Filling and smoothing cracks, small holes or even joints in walls. Embedding reinforcement mesh. Creating a level, easily workable substrate. For all of this, you need a surface filler.
Gypsum filler sets quickly and therefore has to be applied swiftly. Small irregularities, which often only become visible once it has dried, then have to be reworked with considerable effort. And anyone who has worked with conventional filler knows the unpleasant feeling of dry, cracked skin and dust-clogged airways that comes with it.
Clay wall and surface filler is a mineral filler whose properties match those of standard surface fillers, but it is much more forgiving and easier to work with, so even DIYers find filling easy. Simple reworking, long working time – a material that can buffer fluctuations in indoor humidity. The surface can be floated, smoothed or sanded up to Q4. Application is surprisingly simple, and the result consists solely of clay and mineral aggregates.
