Building-biology advice centres:
Here for you with advice and practical help!
Building biology advice centres act as branches of the IBN, the Institute of Building Biology, and now even spread the IBN's knowledge across Europe. The cohesion and cooperation among the individual advice centres is very strong. This networking enables the exchange of knowledge, mutual support and the benefit of drawing on a large pool of knowledge.
As part of this network, I want to make knowledge about the opportunities and alternatives offered by building biology more widely known, while at the same time contributing to ensuring the high quality standard.
Some of the advice centres focus on specific topics. My own areas of interest and expertise are building physics, wall build-ups including the materials used for them, and interior design. I have acquired basic knowledge of further topics (mould problems, geomagnetic field radiation and electromagnetic radiation), and when such questions arise I am glad to work closely with building biologists who specialise in them.
