Conluto thinks, feels and designs clay. Since Conluto was founded by Jörg Meyer in 1993, everything in the company has revolved around the development, production and distribution of contemporary earthen building materials.
In the course of the last few years, a small East Westphalian company based on handicraft services has developed into a company operating throughout Europe. Today, Conluto produces and sells trend-setting clay products according to proven recipes and with consistently high, controlled quality on an area of around 14,000 square metres.
To minimise transport costs and effort, we often have the clay shipped directly from the factory. This means that even products that are rarely requested or mixed especially for you can be delivered quickly.
The classic products are the naturally moist clay undercoat plaster and the natually moist clay finish-coat plaster.
The easy-to-process clay plasters from Conluto can be applied with machines or by hand. The facing plasters can also be applied by machine. The surface strength and depth effect of a facing plaster cannot be achieved with any paint coat.

The wide range of products includes clay plasters and paints, renovation systems (interior insulation systems, clay blocks), modern clay building solutions (rammed earth, clay building panels) as well as materials for restorations.

In addition to the classic plasters, the Conluto clay paints are particularly recommended. These are mixtures of coloured earths and loams, to which cellulose and plant starch have been added in some cases for better processing. The high-quality surface strength that you achieve with these colours even allows them to be used in public areas. The clay paint is sold and delivered as a ready-mixed powder and is mixed with water, ready for use on the building site. This eliminates the need for chemical pot preservatives and unnecessary water transport, and the dry paint powder can be stored for years without damage.
