Application of AURO Professional Clay Paint 535

Ready to use & immediately applicable

Unlike other clay paints that are often delivered as powder and need to be mixed first, AURO Professional Clay Paint 535 comes ready to use. You can apply it straight from the container without any tedious mixing or soaking time. Application is simple and straightforward. To achieve the best results, follow these steps:

1. Prepare the surface

The surface should be dry, clean, and stable. Absorbent or sandy substrates should be pre-treated with AURO Deep Primer 301.

2. Stir the paint

Stir the paint thoroughly before application. If necessary, you can dilute it with up to 10% water to adjust the consistency for easier application.

3. Application

The paint can be applied using a brush, roller, or spray device.

Consumption: approx. 0.08 – 0.1 L/m² per coat

For optimal results, we recommend two coats. The first coat can be slightly diluted.

4. Let it dry

Drying time is approximately 6 hours under normal indoor conditions. Full curing is achieved after about 24 hours.

5. Cleaning the tools

Clean brushes and rollers immediately after use with water.
