• Preparation: Add water and mix with a kitchen whisk or by hand. Natural brown 1.15 to 1.25 l, natural light 0.975 to 1.15 l, depending on the desired working consistency and the width of the joints to be filled.

• Application: Joints and cracks must be carefully cleaned mechanically. Absorbent mineral joint edges can be carefully moistened to bind dust. The mixed material can be filled into the CLAYTEC refillable cartridge (Art. No. 182/582), for example with a filling knife, and is ready for use immediately. When choosing a caulking gun, make sure it is a quality tool. The piston in the refillable cartridge can be pushed back with a round rod for repeated use. Silicone spatulas are suitable for striking off the joint filler, and fine brushes and clean water for smoothing. With wide or deep joints, fine separation cracks may occur at one joint edge or the filling may sink slightly. In addition to filling joints, the material can also be applied over small areas with a spatula.

• Further treatment: Fine finishing with or without additional material using a sponge and clean water. Skimming and painting are possible with all products suitable for clay plaster surfaces, in particular CLAYFIX clay paint.
