Clay skim coat: up to 3 fewer work steps than gypsum
conluto Lehm Flächenspachtel farbig is a surface filler and finished coloured surface in one. Instead of the classic sequence of filling, sanding, priming and then painting, a single material produces a smooth, coloured clay surface.
With conluto clay skim coat, there is no need for priming or painting. Thanks to the more efficient wall build-up, you save up to 25.9 % of the costs compared with gypsum.

Skim coating has never been so easy
The coloured clay filler can be worked in the same way as conventional surface fillers: mix, apply, smooth and sand if required. The surface can be finished up to quality level Q4 while remaining visibly coloured. The result is not merely a substrate for the next coating step, but the finished wall design itself.
The material stays workable for a pleasantly long time, is easy to correct and can be skimmed over again or sanded once dry. For applicators this means less time pressure, clean surfaces and an easily controllable result – even on demanding surfaces.

In addition to its economic advantage, the clay filler stands out for its material base of mineral and plant-based raw materials. The dry ready-mix consists of coloured loam or clay, marble powder, cellulose and plant starch. It is highly vapour-permeable, moisture-regulating and odour-absorbing.
