Monocrystalline

Pure silicate paint in accordance with VOB/C DIN 18363 2.4.1. Single-component formulation of pure potassium water glass and purely mineral pigments and fillers resistant to potassium water glass. BEECK Monokristallin is free from organic additives of any kind. Suitable for water-wettable, porous mineral substrates such as lime and cement render, concrete, brick and natural stone.
For decades, pure silicate coatings have stood for the utmost durability and a timeless, mineral, velvety matt aesthetic, for prestigious listed buildings as well as for contemporary architecture.

BEECK Monokristallin contains exclusively silicifiable potassium water glass as its binder. Silicification, the chemical reaction between substrate, pigments and potassium water glass, creates a unit that is inseparably bonded to the mineral substrate.
Within the system, BEECK Monokristallin can be overpainted practically indefinitely without building up an excessive layer of high-stress, sealing (organic) material that leads to flaking and cracking. Weathering occurs through slight surface chalking. Costly paint stripping or blasting, which generates hazardous waste, is neither possible nor necessary.
Pure silicate coatings dry quickly after rain and do not behave thermoplastically. Their high alkalinity counteracts soiling and infestation by mould and algae. The velvet-matt, lively appearance of the mineral coating, with its depth of light and mineral, lightfast pigmentation, enhances any façade for decades. If required, apply a slurry-type primer and intermediate coat with BEECK Monokristallin grob.
