Monokristallin
Single-component, pure silicate paint. Suitable for water-wettable, porous mineral substrates.
Consumption: approx. 0.12 - 0.18 l/m²
Pure silicate paint according to VOB/C DIN 18363 2.4.1, one-component mixture of pure potassium water glass and purely mineral, potassium water glass-resistant pigments and fillers. BEECK Monocrystalline is free from organic additives of any kind. Suitable for water-wettable, porous mineral substrates such as lime and cement plasters, concrete, brick and natural stone. For decades, pure silicate coatings have been synonymous with the highest durability and timeless, mineral cloth-matt aesthetics; for prestigious buildings in the preservation of historical monuments as well as for contemporary and sustainable architecture. BEECK Monocrystalline contains only silicifiable potassium silicate as a binding agent. Silicification, the chemical reaction between the substrate, pigments and potassium water glass, creates an inseparable unit with the mineral substrate. In the system, BEECK Monokristallin can be painted over practically indefinitely without creating an excess layer thickness of tension-rich, blocking (organic) material with flaking and cracks. Weathering due to weak surface chalking. Expensive and hazardous waste stripping or blasting is neither possible nor necessary. Pure silicate coatings dry quickly after rain and do not behave thermoplastically. Their high alkalinity counteracts dirt, mould and algae infestation. The cloth-matt, lively appearance of the mineral coating with its deep light and mineral, lightfast pigmentation enhances any façade for decades. Slurry primer and intermediate coat with BEECK Monocrystalline coarse if required.
