Conluto Deco Clay Facing Plaster

Conluto clay finishing plasters are thin-layered finishing coatings for the creative interior design of clay walls. Clay walls are given a slightly cloudy surface by the fine plaster coating. The cloudy appearance gives the classic plaster a lively look. A depth of colour of extraordinary variety can only be achieved with a fine plaster.

All Conluto clay plasters are open to diffusion, moisture-regulating and odour-binding.

The charm and depth of the fine plaster emerge after it has dried completely. A slight cloudiness is part of the natural appearance of Conluto clay plaster. The fine plaster is applied with a Japanese fine plaster trowel, preferably stainless steel, with a maximum layer thickness of 2 mm. When leather-hard, the plaster is felted with a damp felt board or smoothed with a Japanese smoothing trowel.

The iridescent Conluto clay plaster, mixed with quartz sands, brings great accents to the wall using different processing techniques such as felting, sanding or compacting. Effect materials, such as shimmering straw fibres or metallic sparkling mica, conjure up very special detailed effects on the wall. The clay blue and shell colours contain small amounts of pure ultramarine blue pigment.
