Clay plasterboard
A thin, mould-pressed clay board with increased surface hardness, made from clay building material, for panelling (Type A) and cladding of walls, ceilings and sloping roofs in accordance with DIN 18948.
- for the construction of partition walls, cladding of timber-framed or timber stud structures, and for cladding existing plastered surfaces
- placed on a pallet; protect the panels from moisture and store in a dry place; cover with a tarpaulin or plastic sheeting
- It is fixed in place using screws, clips or adhesive mortar
Composition: loam, clay, wood fibres, starch, jute fabric (on one side, the reverse)
Dimensions and weights: Dimensional accuracy class MHK II, W = 125.0 cm (± 4 mm), L = 62.5 cm (± 4 mm), D = 22 mm, D = 16 mm (+ 1 mm, - 3 mm).
Flatness: -1 mm.
Weight: D 22 approx. 32 kg/m² = approx. 25 kg/sheet, D 16 approx. 23 kg/m² = approx. 18 kg
Delivery form: Shrink-wrapped on pallets, D 22: 40 pieces per pallet, D 16: 60 pieces per pallet.
Wall substructure: D 22 centre-to-centre spacing 62.5 cm (= 125 cm/2).
