Clay mortar for use with clay bricks

Clay mortar is used for processing clay tiles. The mortar is easy to work with and has a high level of adhesion to the brick. Masonry work with heavy clay bricks, e.g. for interior walls or partition walls, is simple. The clay mortar can also be used very well for laying clay bricks or soft fired bricks in a timber frame.
Light clay masonry mortar is an earth-moist ready-mix in accordance with DIN 18946.
is made from: Crushed building clay, mixed-grain sand 0-2 mm, sawdust and chopped straw 12 mm 

1 m³ of earth-moist clay masonry mortar produces approx. 750 litres of masonry mortar. Depending on the brick format and wall thickness, the mortar requirement is per m² (in litres):
