Coloured sand dark yellow

The coloured sands are kiln-dried sands with a grain size of 0-2 mm.

For making your own plaster mixes in individual colours. The sands consist partly of crushed and partly of screened rounded grains. For a homogeneous clay plaster, it makes sense to use some of both grain structures.

You can find recipes for clay plasters in the specialist books "Handbuch Lehmbau" or "Lehm- und Kalkputze". To achieve good results, take your time to find the right mix and always apply test areas.
