Floor hard wax
Ready-to-use, pasty hard wax as an additional silk-gloss protective layer for oiled surfaces – especially floors, also furniture and doors. Hardness comes from carnauba wax. Not for wet rooms or kitchen worktops. Coverage: approx. 0.02 l/m² per coat; 1 l covers approx. 50 m².
KREIDEZEIT Hard Floor Wax provides additional, silk-gloss protection for oiled surfaces (wood, cork, stone, ceramics) and linoleum, especially for floors, but also for furniture and doors. The surface hardness comes largely from the carnauba wax it contains, the hardest naturally occurring wax.
Do not use in wet rooms, on kitchen worktops or on untreated, absorbent substrates.

Suitable substrates
Previously oiled surfaces (wood, cork, stone, ceramics) and linoleum. Not on untreated, absorbent substrates; not in wet rooms; not for kitchen worktops.
Application & Processing
Pre-treatment: The substrate must be oiled and fully cured (observe the specified curing time).
Application: Apply thinly with a soft cloth or pad, allow to dry slightly, then buff with a cloth or polishing machine. Repeat the process if necessary.
Maintenance: Re-polish when the sheen fades; re-wax heavily used areas as required.
Tools & cleaning: Soft cloths/pads. Clean tools with gum turpentine.

Note: Lay out rags soaked with oil/wax flat to dry (risk of spontaneous combustion). Observe the safety data sheet.
Frequently asked questions
When do I use Fußbodenhartwachs?
As additional satin-gloss protection on a surface that has already been oiled and has cured – not as a first treatment.
Is it suitable for kitchen worktops?
No. For worktops, use KREIDEZEIT worktop oil or a hard oil.
How do I care for a waxed surface?
Wipe with a well-wrung damp cloth; buff again when the gloss fades and re-wax heavily used areas as needed.
Do I need to polish?
Yes, after a short initial drying time, buff with a cloth or pad – this creates the silky sheen and the closed surface.
