Straw bale construction explained in the book
A construction manual.
In recent years, straw has been rediscovered as an inexpensive building material with very good thermal
insulation properties. The authors
describe the construction methods and the technical particularities that
matter when working with straw as a building material, and they present, in concrete
and practical terms, constructions and execution details with which well
insulated and durable homes can be built from straw bales.
With advice on the surface treatment of wall surfaces, concrete
instructions for the construction process and descriptions of many
projects already completed.
