Wood Wax No. 187

AURO Wood Wax No. 187 from the Aqua range protects wooden or linoleum floors and furniture from dirt and abrasion. The liquid balm made from beeswax and plant wax affects the colour intensity of the wood less than products from the Classic range and therefore has less of a colour-deepening effect.

The wax contains no added solvents, can be brushed or rolled on and produces a silk-matt, easy-care surface.

Use & Application

Prime beforehand: with AURO Hartgrundierung Nr. 127, or for woods rich in extractives (e.g. oak, chestnut, walnut, larch, bamboo, cork) with AURO Spezialgrundierung Nr. 117. Apply the wax by brush or roller and, after no less than 20 and no more than 60 minutes, buff to a silk-matt finish with a clean cloth or pad.

Tip: If you want a particularly natural-looking wood finish that is barely darkened, this Aqua variant is a better choice than the Classic products, which enhance the grain more strongly.
