Japanese Flooring Trowel

It is the giant among Japanese trowels: this is the classic tool for applying, spreading and compacting loose clay fill for floors. It is available in lengths from 330 to 450 mm. The blade, made of 0.7 mm thick, flexible Honyaki steel with a rounded end, comes from the traditional forge of Yamanishi-san, where every piece is individually handcrafted. The typical Japanese handle allows optimum handling and makes it possible to apply high pressure while working. Even suitable for spreading and smoothing concrete-based materials.
