Japanese finger trowel

Narrow and slightly curved: a delicate trowel for concave curves in lime and clay plasters. The tip of the slender trowel blade is gently turned up in a relatively large radius in order to smooth and compact curved areas of the plaster surface. To reach even inaccessible corners and angles, the handle is positioned in front of the trowel blade. The trowel is handcrafted in the traditional Japanese forge of Yamanishi-San from robust, hard Honyaki steel.
