Japanese Special Trowel

With sculptural ambition: the fine little trowel for curves. The semicircular blade with one pointed end is ideal for shaping external curves in lime or clay plaster. This is where it gets its very own name: in Japan, such curves are called 'Namako'. This tool is made from robust, hard Honyaki steel in Yamanishi-San's traditional Japanese forge. It is available in widths between 35 and 70 mm.
