    IsoHemp PCS interior plaster – the balanced combination of gypsum and lime

    The IsoHemp PCS interior plaster is a cost-effective solution for finishing your walls and ceilings. Its carefully formulated blend of quarried gypsum, lime and sand combines the easy workability of gypsum with the high water vapour permeability of lime. The result is a smooth, white, modern surface that is ready for painting straight away.

    • Easy to work with: Can be applied either by hand or with standard plastering machines.

    Einsatzbereiche

    IsoHemp PCS is a single-coat plaster for all rough and absorbent substrates in new builds and renovation. It is the standard plaster for IsoHemp hemp blocks, but also adheres excellently to conventional masonry units. For smooth, non-porous substrates, prior application of a primer is recommended.

    Technical data

    • Zusammensetzung: 50 % Naturgips, 17 % Luftkalk, 33 % Sand.

    • Schichtdicke: 5 mm bis 25 mm (Standard: ca. 12 mm).

    • Verbrauch: ca. 12,5 kg/m² pro cm Schichtdicke.

    • Verarbeitungszeit: ca. 1,5 Stunden.

    • Rohdichte: 1200 kg/m³. 

    Verarbeitungshinweise (Praxis-Tipps)

    1. Preparation: The substrate must be clean and free of dust. Lightly dampen absorbent substrates if necessary.

    2. Mixing: Pour 11–12 litres of water per 25 kg bag into the container, sprinkle in the plaster and stir to a creamy consistency. Leave to stand for 10 minutes!.

    3. Application: Apply the plaster generously (max. 25 mm per coat). You have around 45 minutes to apply it to the wall.

    4. Ruling off & smoothing: After approx. 30 minutes, rule off for the first time with the straightedge. As soon as the plaster is no longer tacky, rule off a second time and finish with the sponge float.

    5. Mirror effect: For a particularly smooth result, lightly spray the wall with water the following day and polish it one final time with a flexible wide spatula.
