Lime Casein Wall Paint No. 751

AURO Kalkcasein-Wandfarbe Nr. 751 is a white, silk-matt powder wall paint without added solvents, for mixing yourself. It is suitable for (almost) all interior walls – woodchip wallpaper, clay plaster, plasterboard, concrete, masonry, lime and cement plaster as well as calcium silicate brick. It is not suitable for wet rooms.

The formulation relies on milk casein as its binder and therefore has a distinctly mineral character.

Use & Application

Stir 3 kg of powder into 3 litres of water, leave to swell for 30 minutes and then mix thoroughly with a paddle mixer (ideally fitted to a drill). Apply two to three coats, allowing 24 hours between coats. Carefully cover the surrounding area before painting.

Tip: When wet, the coating looks transparent and dries to a slightly cloudy white. This is normal and part of the characteristic appearance of lime casein.
