Clear Varnish, satin-matt No. 261

AURO Clear Varnish Silk Matt No. 261 is a silk-matt clear varnish manufactured without added solvents\1 for interior furniture and objects made of wood or wood-based materials – with good abrasion resistance.

Due to the lack of pigmentation, clear varnishes are not suitable for exterior use; however, they are particularly well suited to leaving the original appearance of the wood visible and unaltered.

Use & Application

Dilute the first coat with 20 % water to act as a primer; prime woods rich in extractives with AURO Special Primer No. 117. This is followed by 2 undiluted coats of varnish.

Tip: Because they contain no pigments, clear varnishes are suitable for interior use only. For exterior applications, use pigmented varnishes or oils.

Ingredients: Water, rosin glycerol ester with organic acids, mineral fillers, sunflower oil, linseed oil, cobalt-free driers, ricinene oil, rapeseed and castor oil surfactants, silicic acid, cellulose, fatty acids.
