Masonry mortar for lightweight clay bricks in timber-frame infill panels and inner leaves. The wood chip content matches the mortar to the material composition of the lightweight clay bricks, and the bulk density and building-physics properties are adjusted accordingly. Area of application: masonry mortar for clay bricks and lightweight clay bricks of application class I or II. Not suitable for use as a plastering mortar or as a base material for producing plastering mortars.

Technical data

• Composition: Raw building clay up to 5 mm, sand 0-2 mm, wood granules (shavings) up to 20 mm. Grading, oversize grain size to DIN 0/4, < 8 mm.

• Delivery form, yield: Earth-moist 05.022 in 1.0 t big bags (yields 700 l of masonry mortar) Earth-moist 05.222 in 0.5 t big bags (yields 350 l of masonry mortar) Dry 10.122 in 25 kg bags (yields 20.5 l of masonry mortar), 48 bags/pallet.

• Application: The mortar is applied in accordance with the rules of the masonry trade. If lime plastering is planned, strike the masonry joints flush and, to improve subsequent plaster adhesion, rake them out with sharp edges to a recess of max. 3 mm.
  
• Material requirement: Depending on the block format and wall thickness, the mortar requirement in litres/ m² is as follows
