Conluto clay building board, 22 mm thick

    Clay finishing plaster FINE

    by Claytec

Clay plaster mortar for a single-coat plaster with a thickness of 2 to 3 mm. The Oberputz FEIN from Claytec is made for even, homogeneous substrates. It is suitable for clay building boards, clay base plaster and other absorbent, even substrates. The ultra-fine cellulose fibres give the mortar very high smoothness and very good workability, very similar to, and even slightly better than, conventional clay plasters with long fibres. The plaster has a very fine grading curve with a grain size of up to 0.6 mm, which of course makes it ideally suited for plastering machines. The plaster can be worked with a wide variety of tools. Simple plastering trowels are used for application; the surface can then be finished with sponge floats, wooden or plastic floats and smoothing trowels. The finished surface can then be painted with any clay or lime paint.
