Clay oven made from oven clay

Oven clay can be used to render and build the fire chambers of pizza ovens, garden ovens and masonry heaters, as well as the fireboxes of wood-fired kitchen ranges. The clay plaster contains fireclay (chamotte) powder, whose strength enables it to withstand open fire. It is just as easy to work with as any other clay plaster. One bag of oven clay is sufficient for a small firebox built with firebricks, whereas building a new pizza oven will typically require four to ten bags. Consumption naturally depends on the design and application.

The stove clay is fire-resistant, which makes it particularly suitable for laying firebricks.
