The professional mixer made of sturdy sheet steel fits any standard drill chuck with its 8mm shank. With a diameter of 60 mm, the mixer stirs clay paint or lime paint quickly. Stirring paint or mixing in pigments is considerably more effective with the paddle, and the paint becomes more uniform. The 400 mm length of the stirring rod also makes it suitable for mixing in tall buckets. The galvanised version is more durable: powder coatings often come loose over time, and paint chips from the paddle end up in the paint. This does not happen with the galvanised paddle.
