Deep primer and consolidant from Claytec

Before applying clay plaster mortar or bonding dry-lining or internal insulation boards. For consolidating dusty substrates, for example lime or cement.

Technical details

• Composition: Water, potassium water glass, dispersion, additives < 1%.
• Available as, coverage: 10 l canister - Article number: 13.405 1 l bottle - Article number: 13.400
• Storage: Can be stored in sealed containers in a dry, cool (frost-free!) place for at least one year. Tightly reseal opened containers.
• Preparation: As a rule, stir thoroughly undiluted; when consolidating clay plaster surfaces, up to 25% water may be added.
• Substrate: Remove loose parts of the substrate. Brush off any loose sand grains. Substrate temperature 5-25 °C.
• Application: Apply generously over the entire surface with a short-pile roller or a brush. If the deep primer and consolidant is to penetrate deep into the substrate, several coats applied wet-on-wet are recommended.
• Drying: The next coat can only be applied once fully dry, after 48 hours at the earliest. Drying time depends on temperature and humidity
