Clay design plaster
YOSIMA delivers depth of colour without artificial dyes or pigments.
It results solely from the properties of the clays
used. The clay is both binder and colourant in one.
Its subtle play of colour gives the surfaces their authentic,
genuine character.
The result is a system of 146 colour shades for interior
design with clay at the highest level.
But with texture, please!
YOSIMA offers a wealth of colours using earth-based materials in a
well-developed system. The YOSIMA colour shades result from blending
the pure base shades; our clay designer plasters are not “tinted”
but pure.
The texture of the surfaces is determined by the ingredients and the application technique.
The six texture additives allow a variety of effects to be achieved. They can be mixed into any of the 146 colour shades.
Product and application
Coloured clay plasters in accordance with DVL TM 06 for interior design (not for splash zones).
Mixed-grain sand, coloured clays and loams, perlite, cellulose fibres, methyl cellulose < 0.5% (water-soluble stabilisation). Grain size up to 1 mm. Colouring from the clay earths, no additional pigments. (Shade SC with < 2% magnetite.)
Abrasion 0.30-0.50 g (permissible 0.70 g), wet abrasion class 5 according to DIN EN 13300.
The product meets higher indoor-climate requirements according to TM 06 DVL.
Delivery forms, coverage
20 kg lidded bucket for approx. 6 m2 at 2 mm thickness, 500 kg big bag for approx. 150 m2 at 2 mm thickness.
Storage
In closed containers, the product can be stored in a cool, dry place for at least three years.
Mortar preparation
The
20 kg of dry mix is gradually stirred into approx. 5.5-6.5 l (varies
depending on the product) of clean water using a drill (≥ 800 watts)
or a mixer and mixing paddle (Ø 125 mm).
After a 30-minute resting time, mix thoroughly again, then apply.
