Japanese fine plastering trowel, pointed

This plastering trowel with a pointed end made of Aburayaki steel works well with stiff, sticky mortar, which can be spread easily thanks to the flexibility of the trowel. After forging, this steel is hardened twice and oiled, and it is softer than Honyaki steel. This trowel is a handcrafted quality product by the Japanese master blacksmith Yamanishi-San. It is excellently suited to smoothing and finishing, particularly lime plasters. Thanks to the point, you can work effortlessly and precisely, especially in corners and angles. The trowel is fitted with the long Japanese handle, whose shank is gripped between the index and middle fingers. This allows the plaster to be compressed firmly. It is available in various lengths from 210 to 360 mm.
