Ready-mixed & ready to use straight away

Unlike other clay paints, which are often supplied as a powder and have to be mixed first, AURO Profi-Lehmfarbe 535 is ready to use. You can apply it straight from the container, with no tedious mixing or long soaking times. Applying AURO Profi-Lehmfarbe 535 is simple and straightforward. To achieve the best result, follow these steps:

1. Prepare the substrate

The substrate should be dry, clean and load-bearing. Absorbent or sanding surfaces should be pre-treated with AURO Tiefengrund 301.

Mix the 2nd paint

Stir the paint well before application. If necessary, you can thin it with up to 10 % water to adjust its brushability.

3. Auftragen

The paint can be applied by brush, roller or spray equipment.

Consumption: approx. 0.08 – 0.1 L/m² per coat

For best results, we recommend two coats. The first coat can be slightly thinned.

4. Leave to dry

The drying time is approx. 6 hours under normal room conditions. Complete drying-through is achieved after about 24 hours.

5. Reinigung der Werkzeuge

Clean brushes and rollers with water immediately after use.
