Hessler Crealime
Crealime is a new kind of product for decorative lime-based surface techniques and skim coats.
With its wide range of aggregates and pigments, Crealime can be used to create highly individual surfaces. Crealime lends itself to creating distinctive surfaces through a wide variety of trowelling techniques or by sanding the surface.
Crealime invites you to express yourself. The premium product Crealime makes exclusive surfaces possible. A lime plaster or lime-cement plaster is recommended as the substrate. Substrates unsuitable for pure lime plasters (gypsum-containing substrates) must be primed with plaster bonding primer. Old wall surfaces (remnants of wallpaper etc.) must be pre-treated with Naturkalk-Grundierung (lime primer) to achieve a high-quality finish.

Concrete substrates are pretreated with the lime bonding plaster HP 14; the risk of cracking due to changes of material and board joints in the substrate is further minimised by embedding a fine plaster mesh in the HP 14.
Crealime can be sanded with a drywall sander or by hand. To make a lime sandable, it needs greater strength. In Crealime this is achieved by a minimal addition of white cement of less than 5 %. This small amount reduces the indoor-climate properties of a pure lime only very slightly.
