Sapwood-free surface, no wormholes allowed; knot diameter up to 1/6 of the plank width allowed – measured on the narrow side; tight knots allowed; width of dry cracks in knots up to about 10% of the knot diameter allowed;
mixing ratio approx. 1/3 brown heartwood – 2/3 white portion.
Boards packed sealed in shrink film on pallet or loose in transport boxes wrapped in foil.
Fakten:
The fine wood ash resembles oak in its grain, but has a character all of its own – particularly thanks to its inviting, warm golden tone. A further advantage: ash is very hard and therefore exceptionally resilient. A higher proportion of brown heartwood and knots makes “Ash Markant” a lively and unmistakable floor.
Knot holes and cracks are filled at the factory.
Oiling tones down the natural colour tone, making the wood appear lighter.

Underfloor heating up to 165 mm width
