DIE ROTE primer
by Claytec
DIE ROTE provides key and plaster adhesion on smooth and/or poorly absorbent substrates such as high-insulation bricks, sand-lime elements, concrete, lime and gypsum plasters, old dispersion paint coats (sound but porous), old synthetic resin plasters and others.
Composition: limestone powder, water, water glass, clay, dispersion < 5% (to improve adhesion properties and application reliability), perlite, cellulose fibres, methyl cellulose, xanthan.
Grain size: 0-1.8 mm Delivery forms, coverage: item no. 13.435 10 l bucket, 24 buckets/pallet, liquid, for approx. 30 m2. Item no. 13.430 5 l bucket, 56 buckets/pallet, liquid, for approx. 15 m2.
Storage: Can be stored in sealed containers in a dry, cool (frost-free!) place for at least one year. Reseal opened containers tightly. Preparation As a rule, stir thoroughly undiluted; up to 5% water may be added.
Substrate: The substrate must be load-bearing, firm and clean. Substrate temperature 5-25 °C. Remove old, poorly adhering coatings; wash off water-soluble coatings. Brush down dusting plasters and wash them afterwards. Prepare heavily dusting substrates with CLAYTEC Deep Primer and Consolidant. Fresh gypsum, lime or cement plasters must be at least 10 days old and dry. Highly alkaline substrates such as fresh concrete surfaces with laitance must be professionally fluosilicate-treated (neutralised), and residues of formwork oil must be washed off. CLAYTEC primers have no consolidating or sealing effect.
Application: Apply generously over the entire surface with a short-pile roller or a brush.
