For raised joints: the convex pointing trowel. This slim, curved trowel is handmade in Yamanishi-San's Japanese forge from proven, robust Honyaki steel. It is advisable to hold the handle in front of the blade so that your hand is not in front of the workpiece, where it would obstruct your view of it. This pointing trowel is 120 mm long and available in various widths from 7.5 to 12 mm.
