Japanese smoothing trowel

This slim, long smoothing trowel is optimised for finishing your clay floor. The rectangular blade made of 0.4 mm thick, very hard Honyaki steel, handcrafted by the Japanese master blacksmith Yamanishi-San, is fitted with the traditional Japanese handle. With this handle, the index and middle fingers grip the shank, allowing better control of the tool and greater pressure. We stock this trowel in a length of 360 mm.
