Verwendung

HP 9 KH is used as a base coat plaster for interiors (including wet rooms) and exteriors. The hemp aggregate makes it suitable for non-homogeneous substrates. Thanks to its high stability, it is also very well suited to filling cable chases. For exterior use, please note: HP 9 KH is not water-repellent. HP 9 KH can be applied to all types of masonry as well as to rough-formed concrete, pumice concrete and no-fines concrete. On highly absorbent substrates and in very warm weather, the substrate must be sufficiently pre-wetted. If necessary, the plaster must be moistened with water after application. Concrete surfaces must first be pre-coated with the lime bonding plaster HP 14 using a notched trowel. Once this has hardened sufficiently, HP 9 KH is applied at a thickness of approx. 10 mm.

Zusammensetzung

HP 9 KH is a mineral factory-made dry mortar of mortar category CS I according to DIN EN 998-1. HP 9 KH is composed of natural hydraulic lime, limestone and quartz sand, hemp and a small addition of cellulose. HP9 KH contains no synthetic binders, is highly vapour-permeable (water vapour diffusion resistance factor µ = 6) and reduces the risk of fungal and mould growth.
