Zusammensetzung
HP 9 KL is a mineral factory-made dry mortar of mortar group CS I according to DIN EN 998-1. HP 9 KL is composed of natural hydraulic lime, building clay, limestone and quartz sand, hemp and a small addition of cellulose. HP 9 KL contains no synthetic binders, is highly vapour-permeable (water vapour diffusion resistance factor µ = 6) and reduces the risk of fungal growth and mould. Grain size: 2 mm
Verwendung
Lime, clay and hemp: we have combined the three oldest building materials known to humankind, all thoroughly proven, in our natural lime-clay plaster with hemp, HP 9 KL. With its high pH value, lime reduces the risk of mould; clay provides a pleasant, earthy colouring combined with high moisture storage capacity; and hemp, a renewable raw material, has a reinforcing effect and ensures ideal working properties. Our natural lime-clay plaster with hemp ideally combines all the advantages of natural lime and clay plasters: high alkalinity, highly vapour-permeable, capillary-active, moisture-regulating, helps reduce pollutants in indoor air, and meets building-biology requirements. HP 9 KL natural lime-clay plaster with hemp is a building material made from lime, clay and hemp at an affordable price, suitable for existing buildings and new builds, for renovation and for the conservation of listed buildings.
Anwendung
HP 9 KL is used as a base coat plaster for interiors. It is very well suited to embedding wall heating systems. HP 9 KL can be applied to all types of masonry, concrete and plaster bases. On highly absorbent substrates and in very warm weather, the substrate must be sufficiently pre-wetted. If necessary, the plaster must be moistened with water after application. Alternatively, priming with Ziakosal (dilution 1:8) is recommended. Concrete surfaces must first be pre-coated with the lime bonding plaster HP 14 using a notched trowel. Once this has hardened sufficiently, HP 9 KL is applied at a thickness of approx. 10 mm. Surfaces to be tiled must be plastered with the lime-cement plaster HP1.
