Hessler HP 9500 Naturkalk-Grundierung (lime primer) is intended as a suction-control primer on aerated concrete blocks or Poroton blocks, HP 9 SL, HP 14 or other highly absorbent substrates. Suction-control primers ensure that moisture is not drawn into the substrate too quickly, so the lime plaster does not burn out. This is particularly important with thin layers of lime plaster, e.g. decorative finish plasters. Thin layers of lime plaster retain less water, so burning out can occur if the substrate has not been pre-wetted thoroughly and evenly. Until now, suction-control primers have always been conventional, chemically manufactured products. Hessler HP 9500 is a suction-control primer for building with mineral building materials such as lime and clay. Material consumption is 200 - 350 g / m², depending on the condition of the substrate.
