Because it comes as a powder, you can mix exactly the amount of primer you need at the time. Unmixed leftovers keep for an extremely long time. Hessler HP 9600 Naturkalk-Grundierung fein (lime primer) is intended as a primer for non-uniform substrates.
Naturkalk-Grundierung fein is used on plasterboard and gypsum fibreboard, firmly adhering old coatings or any mineral plaster. If you want to paint gypsum surfaces with a vapour-permeable interior paint, a proper primer is essential. Until now, primers for plasterboard have always been transparent or modified with chemical additives. Hessler Naturkalk-Grundierung fein (lime primer) for lime paints is a suitable primer. Naturkalk-Grundierung is already white, so a single coat of wall paint may be sufficient.
HP 9600 Naturkalk-Grundierung fein (fine lime primer) evens out the substrate and reduces its absorbency. This makes substrates uniform and the paint finish consistent. To mix the paint, combine 7 litres of clean water with the powder and, after a soaking time of 30 minutes, adjust to the desired consistency with water. Material consumption is 200 - 350 g / m², depending on the condition of the substrate. Apply with a roller or a brush.
