Clay adhesive by Claytec
Clay adhesive and reinforcing mortar for reinforcement layers on clay boards as well as wood-fibre interior boards and internal insulation boards. Clay adhesive and reinforcing mortar consists of clay with a cellulose content. This ensures excellent workability, even when applied in thin coats. With a compressive strength of 3.9 MPa – unusually high for a clay mortar – and a bond strength of 0.85 MPa, clay adhesive and reinforcing mortar ensures the strength of the entire construction. It serves as a base for fine Claytec clay finishing plasters and YOSIMA. With good preparation, it can also simply be painted with the Clayfix clay paint system.
Application: Adhesive and bonding mortar supplied as a dry, fine-grained ready mix for bonding lightweight building boards and internal insulation boards to various substrates, and as a reinforcing mortar on clay building boards, clay-hemp boards, wood-fibre insulation boards and wood-fibre interior boards, as well as mineral foam boards.
Composition: Sand up to 1.0 mm, clay and loam, talc, perlite, plant fibres and cellulose.
Supply form, coverage: 25 kg bags (yields 17 l of mortar for 5 m2), 48 bags/pallet.
