conluto lightweight clay bricks

for bricking out half-timbered structures

  • NF 1200 lightweight clay bricks are particularly suitable for lining compartments

Application class (AK) 1a defines the possible uses of the bricks. Bricks with this application class are approved for external use in partition walls, provided they are protected from the elements by a lime plaster finish.
All lightweight clay bricks can be used indoors for non-load-bearing walls and cavity walls. A cavity wall is built in front of an existing wall, and the resulting cavity is filled with lightweight clay. This provides homogeneous internal insulation that is vapour-permeable and capillary-conductive. Unlike with board materials, this method does not create any discontinuities.
