KREIDEZEIT Marseille Soap is a purely plant-based soap made from sodium soaps of coconut and palm kernel oil. It is finely flaked, which makes it free-flowing and easily soluble in hot water. Contains no synthetic surfactants, fragrances, colourants or preservatives.

Owing to its limited solubility in cold water, it is particularly suitable as a wooden floor soap. Use as a cleaner for oiled or waxed cork, wood and tiled floors as well as linoleum, for cleaning oil-soiled brushes and rollers, and for cleaning hands.

Frequently asked questions

Marseille soap or Corfu soap?
Both are pure soaps for the same purposes. Marseille soap is slightly less soluble in cold water, which makes it particularly well suited as a wooden floor soap.

How much do I use for floor cleaning?
Dissolve 2 tbsp of flakes in 1 l of boiling water and dilute with 7 l of water.

Why doesn't it lather?
Pure soap without added surfactants hardly lathers – the cleaning performance remains the same.
