KREIDEZEIT Punic Wax is a beeswax soap with an ointment-like consistency: purified, gently decolourised beeswax is saponified with potash, making it partially water-soluble. This allows it to be easily brushed and trowelled (the solvent is water).

It serves as a glossy wax finish for KREIDEZEIT Stuccolustro, Stucco Fein, Tadelakt, Marmorino and Kalkglätte, for faux marble finishes (e.g. on casein marble-meal paint), encaustic work and casein paint coatings. As an additive to casein marble-meal paint, Vega wall paint or distemper for polishable coatings and trowelled techniques.
