Ready-mixed lime concrete. Vapour-permeable concrete mortar without cement. For use in historical and ecological buildings.
Used as non-load-bearing paving, cellar floors, or for the restoration of historical floor slabs.
Pumpable with screed pumps – Grain size up to 10 mm!

KHOLAO® Beton de Chaux – Lime-based floor concrete for interiors
KHOLAO® Beton de Chaux is a factory-mixed, lime-based concrete for interior use. It is used for ‘non-load-bearing’ floor slabs in old buildings, vaults, basement areas, restored existing buildings and ecological new buildings. This concrete consists of natural hydraulic lime, sand and aggregates with a grain size of 0/10 mm and is completely cement-free!
The concrete is diffusion-open, moisture-regulating and cement-free. This supports construction methods that are based on natural materials or are particularly sensitive in existing buildings. If you are looking for an alternative to classic cement concrete that is material-compatible and low in emissions, KHOLAO® Beton de Chaux is exactly the right product for you.

Application
KHOLAO® Beton de Chaux is used for indoor floor slabs when you want to use a cement-free, diffusion-open system. The concrete is suitable for non-load-bearing floor slabs on the ground floor, for old buildings, vaults, cellar floors and restored existing surfaces. The 0/10 mm grain size allows for a homogeneous structure across the entire surface.
The concrete is typically installed in a single layer. The concrete can be used on mineral and natural substrates, provided that these are load-bearing and have been prepared in accordance with best practice.
For layer thicknesses exceeding 15 cm, the structure must be built in two layers. Steel reinforcement is not intended for use in this concrete; aggregates are not included in the ready-mixed concrete and must not be added. For individual mixtures that are to contain expanded clay or fibres from hemp or reed, we recommend the use of NHL 5 as a binding agent with sands and aggregates according to our own recipe.
