Tadelakt book

Tadelakt is a special North African lime mortar which, through careful application and a great deal of experience, is worked into beautiful dirt- and water-repellent surfaces.
The authors follow the art of Tadelakt from the extraction of the raw materials and their preparation through to countless application examples. Whether in hammams, the oriental steam baths, in modern bathrooms or in wellness centres, Tadelakt always shines with its distinctive, almost living appearance. Add to this columns, arches, domes, walls of all kinds and genuine works of art. More than thirty Tadelakt craftspeople have provided images of their work for this book, making this one of the largest collections of modern possibilities for this centuries-old material.
