Wall filler and surface spatula
Easy-to-use, adhesion-improved mineral filling and smoothing compound on a lime base for interiors – for thin repairs and for smoothing rough walls (0–4 mm). Sandable after 3 hours, without synthetic resin binders. Coverage: approx. 0.9 kg of powder per m² and mm of layer thickness – 1 kg ≈ 1 m², 5 kg ≈ 5 m², 25 kg ≈ 27 m² (at 1 mm thickness).
KREIDEZEIT Wandspachtel is a lime-based mineral filling and smoothing compound with improved adhesion for interior use, suitable for thin-layer repairs and for smoothing rough wall surfaces (application thickness 0–4 mm). Thin layers can be sanded after approx. 3 hours.
It is suitable for full-surface skimming of plasterboard and gypsum fibreboard after jointing, but not as a joint filler. Not for use on wood, wood-based materials or natural resin emulsion paints.

Suitable substrates
Indoors on sound, slightly absorbent substrates: lime and lime-cement plasters, gypsum plasters, concrete, jointed plasterboard/gypsum fibreboard. On firmly adhering synthetic resin emulsion paints after a test area. Not on wood, wood-based materials or natural resin emulsion paints; not as a joint filler.
Application & Processing
Mixing: Stir the powder into cold water until free of lumps, leave to swell, then stir again.
Application: Apply thinly (0–4 mm) with a smoothing trowel and smooth off; if required, apply a second layer once dry. Thin layers can be sanded after approx. 3 hours.
Further work: Once dry, paint over with KREIDEZEIT wall paints.
Tools & cleaning: Smoothing trowel/spatula; clean immediately with water.

Frequently asked questions
How thick can I apply the filler?
0–4 mm. For thicker repairs, work in several layers, allowing each to dry in between.
When can I sand?
Thin coats can be sanded after approx. 3 hours, thicker coats correspondingly later.
Can I use it to fill plasterboard joints?
No. For jointing, use the materials recommended by the board manufacturer. Wall filler is intended for smoothing the entire surface afterwards.
What can I paint over it with?
With KREIDEZEIT wall paints once it has dried completely.
