Japanese fine plastering trowel

The rectangular plastering trowel made of Aburayaki steel likes to work with tough and sticky mud, which can be easily spread thanks to the flexibility of the trowel. This steel is twice hardened and oiled after forging and is softer than Honyaki steel. This trowel is a handcrafted quality product by the Japanese master blacksmith Yamanishi-San. Particularly suitable for smoothing and finishing lime plasters. The trowel is equipped with the long Japanese handle, the bridge of which is gripped by the index and middle fingers. This allows the plaster to be highly compressed. It is available in various lengths from 210 to 360 mm.
